The annual St Georges Day Celebrations return to Emsworth on 23rd April.
With a military parade in the square @ 10am from 12 & 47 Regiments Royal Artillery who are based locally on Thorney Island, this will be accompanied by a military band. The George Regis Jazz Band will also help create a fantastic atmosphere by playing throughout the morning. This year will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Korean war and veterans will receive The Emsworth Rose. The day will also raise funds for the Army Benevolent Fund – the soldiers charity.
